Poor
Guitar bought 5,000 francs (750 euros) in the 80s, the era when a Fender US was worth 4300 francs ... C'tait upscale Yamaha destiny compete Kramer Baretta, USA Jackson, Ibanez Proline on the American market. It was a success in the US and a failure in Europe, because of its high price. It is this same rarity that makes it so expensive side now used (about 500 euros on Ebay when it is).
Features:
- Manufactured in the Custom Shop Yamaha Taiwan labore the USA in the study office Rich Lasner which also took out the Ibanez Prestige and ESP. So we are in presence of a high-end guitar intended for professional guitarists.

My guitar goes over 25 years and are still 10/10 frets, the neck is straight, the low action: one case a very high quality guitar built to last a lifetime.
USE
Particulirement fast and comfortable handle thumb over, the finish is top level.
This is a superstrate so the access to desti- nations most recently boxes is ultra easy.
Level ergonomics Cedro Honduras mahogany wood is lightweight so RAS, it's all good.
The range of sound is really wide.
SONORITS
We can all play this guitar Dire Straits through Satriani or Van Halen. The big riffs Metallica are also its field.
On the clean channel, we get very Fender sound, warm and crystalline.
On the saturated channel Di Marzio has double trunk and lots of body, it "hard" as say the young ...
In short all harmonics emerge as sublime and can engage in solos endiabls, this guitar will be a weapon for shredders, it's a real gun.
The guitar is also very rare on the neck pickup to enchaner very heavy power chords.
In Overd lightweight, one can easily play the Blues or Hard wicked good old school.
NOTICE GLOBAL
Today a guitar that leaves home Rich Lasner worth at least 2000 euros with inflation which roughly corresponds to the price paid at the time. The report qualitprix is very good because this guitar for me was an investment in the long term. Now Yamaha manufactures Rich Lasner is 2500 euros so I keep my guitar prcieusement, also a lot of "guitar hero" is still used today.
This Yamaha 612 S is a thin blade, a veritable Japanese sword. Widely 10/10
