« An excellent choice »
Published on 03/20/12 at 05:57A week. This is not my first guitar, I had the opportunity to try all types of microphones on the occasion of my change of guitars. The ratio Q / P is excellent, and I would not hesitate to repeat the operation.
I have mounted on a Strat Classic Player 60, equipped with microphones in their vintage good but lacked character, thickness, and with the bridge pickup was missing teeth. DO or DS was a bit messy, not to sustain or fat.
All I expected was the change of microphones at the rendezvous. My take on the Storm 60:
In his Strat it is clear, with positions 2 and 4 as we love. Mixed bridge-middle, was the rhythm of "the wall" without touching rien.Un treat. In chorus it gets air would hover for hours. The bridge pickup is perfectly usable, which is not always the case ... OD or distortion in it's full, there sustain, harmonics, the nia + on the easel. It leaves the mix and all notes are dotted with great balance. I'm thrilled, and would recommend this choice to all who have ears. My bass player was on his ass, yet I had not told him that I had new pickups. It definitely has an ear. My guitar has seen its value multiplied by three without PBME.
