Excellent
I use it for a few days, but for many hours!
I already had the Sony MDR-7506 which are to detect distortions in the treble.
In M40 j'aimesles extended highs but sweet (as my old ears!)
serious full but not overbearing, mediums present goods;
I like the least bump around 1kHz: a bit tiring, the insulation is less effective than the Sony.
The value is excellent, much cheaper than the Sony for a more balanced.
If I need a third headphone, I would resume the M40.
I give 9 / 10.
