I use it for 3 years for various tasks: sound recording or filming of the music, listening to playback in the cabin making, listening alternative to the mix.
What he very well is the power, precision and insulation. It's actually a very good headphone making sound, almost no one crosses him on film shoots, but also in sound or on the ears of DJ for a bit of noise isolation. Its isolation is very well made and low impedance to turn up the volume really loud.
It gives a very comfortable listening to everything and anything with sharp little aggressive and not too bright, wide low-very nice, very round, very hot. As you can see it's not a headphone to mix. It is even a mistake to mix with and then it must ever know (and I wonder if this is possible). I mixed several songs with him and I ended up with large imbalances in one way or the other (or just plain dull screaming).
There is no why. At the limit it helps to have a listen when the mix of additional speaker is already completed, but no more. It is quite precise and detailed as to when a sound recording is toneless or not, even in an environment quite noisy, but it has such a color, such a severe compression you can not mix with. on the other hand for the fun to listen to music already is a bit mixed the king ... It acts like a multiband compressor that will put all the time some nice bass at the bottom and not too keen to never be aggressive, a real pleasure to listen to when listening for pleasure, but not for other thing.

A very good headphone sound recording, but not at all monitoring. For that we must look to the open headphones, they are already less compress the bass.
