How long have you use it?

More than a year for another use or mix studio.

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

This headphone rvle everything the mix, the very first time that I test my silent so surprised to rediscover the CD that I knew by heart absolulement I told myself two things: Either vritable is a shit, it is an exceptional headphone.

And in hindsight, it is the deuxime option.

Jamiroquai amricain to mix, one can find the ear all that has been silent ingnieur the sound is pretty amazing. I even Discoveries of hidden tricks that I had never heard: p

And it is a value for me when I mix a song, I know perfectly or I will.

It will never replace the speakers but you get to work on the finesse.

Admittedly, it took me some time to adapt to the headphone, but it is fast enough!

It is enjoyable to wear trs and its color does not tire the ear after several hours of use.

And it is not fully closed by repisse for registration is very practical

Like any range MDR he keeps a certain power when pushed a bit.

What I like least is one's personal and dtail but the twisted wire.
I find it boring and ca s'acroche everywhere!

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

A few prs all headset renowned whether the Beyerdynamic, AKG, Sennheiser, the small ERRF 7506 etc ...

And yes there is a price diffrence between the 7506 and justifications that have the same test me.

Do not forget that the MDR7509 is in the range HD (High Definition) which does not appear on Audiofanzine.

This headphone is designed to work and refinement of a music mix or other ESSENCE. Sony Defines a professional monitoring headphones ...

So if you like that your DJ can happen to me my spare time and want big sound with, buy a headphone matching.

No one will have the ide to a Neumann U87 into a bass drum, and much the same thing.

APRs must be added to the purchase the headphone is too "tight" at the membrane, it requires a slight dbridage to really have any scale and release these frquences that appear in the lower just missing the beginners.

I suggest you let it run several hours in a vacuum rgulieremnt on calm music with beautiful tablecloths, Avoid styles too nags at beginners unless costs you ca: p

This is an advice but for me it is an important step that will allow to assert a more enjoyable or aggressive color headphone.

Finally it is not just be the best headphones for listening to music, since that is quite rvlateur imperfections, it will not give a feeling as smooth and enjoyable as a good headphone Hifi. I cost with that said, it's not unbearable

I calm my enthusiasm a little at the sound qulit. With only bose 901 (crap I know) and to compare mdr 7509, I finally know what to say. This headphone is definitely not perfect, as fragile and fairly isolated and have a sound with an accuracy aperemment dubious. Listen to your mixes with this headphone and another before you buy. Listen to the above before buying. I do not know if I'll stay home next time sony

I've had this pair of headphones for years, which is a great testimony to their longevity. Most pairs of headphones last me a year or two, but I've had these at least 5 and they're in great shape. I originally got this on recommendation by a friend of mine, saying that I should go for these over the more popular 7506 headphones that Sony offers. I compared them both at the store, and definitely agreed. You get a better depth of sound and realism in these phones than you do with the 7506's. The frequency response is similar if not exactly the same, but I think the difference is in the response to dynamics and transients. The quick hits seem more crisp in these.

The noise rejection is fair in these headphones. They do cover your ear completely, but they are not very tight on your head. That means they're more comfortable to wear which is also important, but that more of the outside noise is going to get in, and vice versa. So you might want to keep another pair around for when you're recording close up to a vocal mic, because you will probably get a little spill into the mic from these headphones.

Barring that complaint, they are otherwise a great pair and the price for them is fair. You definitely pay for Sony quality, but if you care about sound fidelity, it's worth the price you pay for their brand name. I'd get them again, listening to music sounds great in them and I like to use them while monitoring when I'm recording someone else. They also give you a snazzy velvet bag for safe keeping if you take them traveling, as well as a converter to go from 1/8" to 1/4". Nice bonuses!
