Aphex Studio Dominator Model 700.
1U, XLR in's / out's, Manufacturing treats, Version antrieure 80's and almost equivalent to the model 720.
UTILIZATION
Configuration almost equivalent to the model 720, crossover frequencies slightly diffrent; 80Hz/160Hz, 1700Hz/4500Hz, Buttons crantslgrement not weaker, except output gain. Instructions more complicated and rarer than the 720.
The yellow LED display is smaller, but a little + prcis and large, a little less flexibility on the dynamics. (Adjustable threshold as a house).
Equipped with the optional TEC = transient enhancement, interresting and trs subtly change the compression mode, but increases the metallic effect when engaged.
SOUND QUALITY
The quality of the sound studio aphex dominator 700 is trslgerement diffrent compared to 720, we can observe a small effect "crash" in the attack, of the clipper has the final internal agressivit , density non-adjustable front but can change according to internal instructions.
Paradoxically, the compression effect of the model is far from 700 to 720 infrieure to taste a little more "vintage".
