You will find on the Nord Lead A1R the exact same control panel as on the A1, but Clavia updated both versions with the following new features:
Added a Like button which will not take you to Facebook but offers the ability to ‘retain’ up to 50 versions of the patch you are creating, which makes browsing between versions easier and lets you save your favorite version to the A1/R memory.
Mutator feature, just like on the Lead 4, that allows for creating a variation of an existing patch by changing some settings according to preset rules
Randomize feature to create a new patch from random settings
Unison mode
The Nord Lead A1R will be unveiled on Wednesday at Musikmesse in Frankfurt. It will be available starting June for the price of 1259€, the A1 with built-in keyboard will be released in April, and retail for 1459€. More information about both versions at www.nordkeyboards.com.
