This CD player is flat not quite so bad as the previous posts seem to say. Material is quite correct, designed for DJs who start the mix. No problem noticed. Just know to take care of his equipment and not to go as a "nag" no less.
This plate is made for beginners because its interface is pretty well thought. The main functions that a DJ needs to know are present: Pitch bend, jog, Scratch, manual BPM, Tempo Master, FXs and so on. Also the handling is quick and intuitive. No need to get a diploma engineer to understand how it works.

In short, these plates are made to teach you the main concepts of the mix. And given the price, it's not such a big investment.
