Studiofeed has launched a campaign project on KickStarter for their SubPac bass reproduction system.

The SubPac features a pad/cushion equipped with tactile technology, electronic and polymers, that you will placed against your back. This pad is connected to an electronic box and the system allows for reproducing in the pad low frequencies from any audio source (frequency response between 5Hz and 130Hz). Studiofeed adds that no bass enhancer nor EQ/compression is used, the SubPac only use the low-end of the audio source.

The SubPac can be used with headphones or speakers and being compact, it can be transported and installed anywhere.

The SubPac is a KickStarter project. A first limited run will be available in April for the USA and Canada only for the special price of $275. A second run (225 SubPacs) will ship worldwide in May and are sold $350 (exc. shipping fees). You can donate less, or more, for instance you can get a Custom edition for $750 (only 25 available).

You'll find more info about the SubPac on www.kickstarter.com and www.thesubpac.com.
