Published on 04/19/13 at 01:21Amp head single-channel all-tube 3 12AX7 and 2 6v6 in JJtubes for power 22w.
Level knob include gain, bass, mid, treble, volume and presence and 2 switch for bright and selection of power 22 or 2w
In terms of connectivity was the input, an effects loop, and 2 outputs selectable 4, 8 or 16 ohms
All in size 44x21x20cm for 9kg
UTILIZATION
One could say that with a single channel clean sound is quite small but the possibilities are pretty huge. The bright brings a nice clicking sound while the normal mode allows for a more neutral sound. The equalizer also brings a lot of change in her. Anyway, I'll put a little longer than expected to get around that little head and that's good.
SOUNDS
My need was simple enough, a single-channel amp head with a nice clean sound that can absorb my pedals to color the sound (distortion, crunch ...). It was that it is powerful enough for repeats and the concert but also docile enough to take home. And the last point is the weight not want to break my back every repeat. And here comes FX
I play a Godin redline and I have a PB with Bad Monkey overdrive, distortion Radial Plexitube, MXR Fullbore metal distortion, chorus and delay EH small clone bellcat. The clean little therefore gives me the luxury of having a nice clean sound and absorb my pedals to come out the best.
Little bit of heart for his bright this amp that vibrates every note.
If I have to give a negative ... It does not make coffee
OVERALL OPINION
The purchase is new and I think I will publish my opinion by a small year because I find the sound better. I originally wanted a 36w TubeMeister but I do not regret my change of mind.
FX is the name needs no introduction as the return of his amps are good but I think I like all his creations the person (friendly, available and listening).
So if the experiment were to be repeated I will eyes closed.
