I had this machine 4-5 months, headlock for me.
2 EH tubes, but it is a level adjustment of boost is much more useful, the proposed mandatory 12db prevent any use as many channels type 3 too high.
Buttons everywhere, split also very unclear as operation. The compressor is odd, the EQ pre-post even more, aie aie.
In-Out-Mixer out. Out the mixer is silent as the pedal is bypassed, weird again, and handicapping.
Bypass transparent, good point. Alim specific, hello trouble in case of failure of thereof.
But: a good product that has very high potential, damage control ...
UTILIZATION
No it's not easy. Especially if you like me to use 3-channel mode (bypass clean / crunch / solo). I note that my late tube factor was just as useless in this application.
on the other hand, only for a function at a time, it's not the boss in two.
The clear sound is possible, with the compressor is really nice and warm, clear unadorned unwanted pumping. The output level in this case requires the boost just because too.
The crunch sound is also very successful shopping or not, but warm and round while remaining accurate. The compressor should be set carefully, it really changes the answer, good sound without discussion.

SOUNDS

OVERALL OPINION

I tried to change the tubes for less boost, nothing to do. And the sound remained kif, despite a good notch below the gain (12AX7 preamp tubes microphone instead of the original EH rather hot).
My tube was the same factor, the better home, then you bother eh.
For the price, I think the womanizer is much better quality than the tube factor, but only use 3 channels should be offered seriously.
That's why I recommend you try the seymour duncan tube excited and mayhem for the other brown for rockers / blueseux.
For its Class A is better. I have not hooked on the sound mix out, this type of output is much better on my Korg OD105.
This is also the latter I use to make my 3-channel, tube or not it sounds really hell ...
