I bought my last pair of SL1210 mk2 about two years ago.
I used a previous model for eight years. I gave them to a friend who is a professional sound engineer and he still uses them.

Very reliable, almost indestructible. Proven quality!
Everybody knows the SL1200 mk2.
You'll never have unpleasant surprises.
I was curious about trying out the new model. It doesn't seem to be as reliable as the SL1200.
So I stayed faithful to the brand.
I have never regretted having bought the SL1200 mk2.
