«  The reference for how long? »

Published on 01/09/12 at 05:39
15 years since I bought my first pair, I fell crazy immediately. I have not tried many other models of turntables, and I am quite bewildered, if not disabled when it happens.

What I like most is the functional: It's an analog object, like a musical instrument, to the appropriate dimensions and ergonomic. It's simple, it's accurate and it works, and that's it.

What I like least: The pitch of the small central notch which can lead to excessive variations in speed. They are no longer manufactured, I do not know how I can find parts when I want to hold raves for my retirement party in 2050.

After all models sold, I think the price is clearly abused: The R & D is really amortized long time and I can not imagine what it will be when the stock runs out nine.

The hardest thing is to imagine the prospect of future: Today, it is the CD players that replace them, or just plain digital controllers. Vinyl records seem to be moving to a luxury market. But to control an audio file, it remains the top. I do not know which controller approach those feelings there.
