I wanted compact full range speaker with big performance and strong fart, so assembling a Crescendo 15-inch full-range bass reflex via lower hatch, a medium piezo (if so) cut between 3000 and 6000 Hz and a HF-250 High Pass 6000Hz 18 dB / octave filter through ad-hoc brand and mounted offset .. All mounted in a box in Mandarin (wood plywood flight) 20 mmm (19 + protective layer). Result ...
very nasty! 103dB measured performance (with 200Wrms, one leaves the room), power handling system: 300wrms. Max SPL: 130 dB (if so measured). The bass is not very low given the small volume of the speakers but is very clean. In addition, as sub satellites, they provide up to 500 people.
I believed it but Fane did a very good material.
SOUNDS
The image is beautiful, almost hi-fi tinged aggression in high-volume. Beyma CP22 worth a less crystalline but with a nicer midrange.
OVERALL OPINION
I have nearly 10 years (if so) without changing the membrane (mounted attenuated ....).
What I like least? Weight. 3kg for a tweeter, it's heavy. Otherwise, ideal 3-way system or a 10 'or 12' full-range satellite for very powerful.
