Arturia launches Spark EDM and an expansion pack
Arturia adds a new edition of its Spark drum software dedicated to Electronic Dance Music and introduces an EDM expansion pack.
Spark EDM features 30 drum kits, 480 instruments and 960 patterns for house, minimal, techno, dubstep styles. The instruments make use of the physical and VA modeling engines and it is possible to customize the patterns.
The interface is organized in three panels, like the other Spark virtual instruments, and includes an effect pad, a looper, a slicer, a step sequencer and automation for every parameter.
A 14 effect section is also included, with multiband compressor and EQ, reverb, sub generator, destroyer, bit crusher, chorus, delay, distortion, phaser, Plate reverb, flanger, limiter and Space pan.
Spark EDM is available in standalone, VST, VST3, RTAS and AU formats for Mac OS X and Windows. It can be controlled by a MIDI keyboard or drum pad. You can download it for $99 or boxed for $129. You can listen to audio demos at www.arturia.com.
Also new is the Spark EDM expansion pack designed specifically for Spark Creative Drum Machine and Spark LE (v1.5 and above) drum machines. It features the 30 Spark EDM kits / 480 instruments and 960 patterns and is only available for download for 29€ at www.arturia.com.
