DubTurbo's DrumTroop is a rompler with an army of presets available as VST and AU for Mac OS X and Windows.
Defines as “a weapon of mass production”, DrumTroop includes meticulously crafted kits for different genre/sub-genre. The .wav files for most sounds are also provided so as to allow importing them into another sampler.
- each kit utilizes all 128 keys or 10 octaves.
- 16 outputs – one for each pad and the last three divide the keys into three spannable sections on the main template
- Your daw takes control of fx/parameters per output/sound
- quick fine tuning controls, pitch, poly, legato, mono, and each pad comes with quick on-board volume, pan, attack, and release treatments.
- a quick LFO tool is provided to help shape or pan some of your sounds.
While DrumTroop is freeware, DubTurbo also offers affordable expansion kits addressing different genres.
