Shreddage Classic is based on the original SG Standard guitar sample library of the first Shreddage for Kontakt in a reworked version for the new S2X sound engine. The first expansion pack for Shreddage 2 (which means that Impact Soundworks should release more) offers less possibilities than Shreddage 2 (no staccato, less extended sound range) but it can perfectly complete the new collection that uses a 7-string guitar.
Shreddage Classic features more than 1900 samples in 24-bit with single notes and powerchords, up to 8 round robins per note, palm mutes, harmonics, true portamento slide, chokes, fret noises and vibrato.
The collection for the full version of Kontakt 5.3 and later is available for $39, or $179 when bundled with Shreddage 2. Users of Shreddage 1 can purchase this expansion pack for $25. Demos are online at impactsoundworks.com.
