Abuser, Audiomodern’s new instrument for Kontakt, is an “virtual analog” hybrid synth.
Abuser is a 3.6GB library featuring 1538 samples and 35 Kontakt instruments. It is based on the sampling of an analog synthesizer, effects, LFO and effects. Audiomodern says it can generate sounds as diverse as bass, leads, saturated melodies and more.
The GUI for Kontakt offers two 4-pole filters with a 24db/octave slope, ADSR, modulation, 4 effect modules (chorus, delay, saturation and reverb) and you can choose between mono, polyphonic and legato modes with portamento.
Abuser is available for the introductory price of 29€ instead of 39€ at audiomodern.com.
