A 1628 Ruckers harpsichord on iOS
TempoRubato has launched on the AppStore a harpsichord app based on the samples of a 1628 Rucker flemish instrument.
Historic Harpsichords - Ruckers 1628 features 800 MB of samples, including key release noises for the two manuals. TempoRubato recreated here all the stops and combinations, as well as the different historic tunings (Werkmeister, Vallotti, Krinberger, Meantone…) and you can change the main A4 pitch by semi-tones.
The app also offers separate MIDI channels for each manual and the key velocity will control the delays.
The App is compatible with Audiobus, inter-app audio, Core MIDI and Virtual MIDI. It is available on the AppStore for the iPhone 5/6 and iPad with iOS 7 and later, for the introductory price of $9.99 until December 2nd. Regular price is $24.99.
