Gamelan is a 14 GB sample library that features the sound of 25 balinese instruments recorded at 24-bit / 88.2 kHz at the Skywalker Sound scoring hall with the Gamelan Sekar Jaya ensemble. The samples were then morphed and manipulated to create the content of the library.
The collection includes 1,700 patches organized in 5 categories: atmospheres, instrumentals, loops, percussive and multi cores, that can be used for any music creation, wether you’re a soundtrack or trailer composer, a sound designer or a rock or EDM musician.
Gamelan also includes a synthesis section in which you can combine/mix up to 8 sound sources to create ambiences, impacts, loops, leads and multis, all of which can be triggered from a single key.
Gamelan can be used in Kontakt 5 and the free Kontakt Player 5. It will be available on September 15th for the regular price of $399.99 but you can pre-order now and get a $100 discount. More info at www.samplelogic.com.
