Grandiose Legato Violin Ensemble is the first opus of the brand new Agitato series and it will be available on September 3rd. The series was produced by Colin O’Malley and Troels Folmann, who already worked with 8Dio.
Agitato Grandiose Legato Violin Ensemble is inspired by the Williams and Mancini styles, and you’ll find, among others, two Mancini legatos as well as a brand new legato system which is announced as more flexible, with dynamic and expression control, and even the ability to link both settings. 8Dio also included a legato speed system that adapts to your compositional style.
The free Try-Pack is designed for the full version of Kontakt 5.3 and later. It features 11 violins recorded in the same church as for the Adagietto and Adagio series, with three microphone positions (close, combo, far). You’ll find 7 types of legato but note that for this demo version, 8Dio limited the note range to C3-G4 (the full version will include the full range as well as 14 dynamic bowed short notes).
The library features 1 153 samples in 1.3GB but you cannot make a commercial use of it.
