Harmonies, Detune, Choral, Vocoder. a processor. Analog (1995).
Rack-mount, was the delight of Pro studios at the time.
Quite limited for editing and storage.
Connectivity options for the of a microphone and a MIDI keyboard.
Single XLR in the front panel. MIDI in the back in, out, thru. 6.35 stereo line input, two output lines L and R 6.35, a socket for the footswitch (FS 300). 9V AC power supply.
UTILIZATION
Comes with a French manual, basic harmonies primer.
Yes, since manual control and keyboard.
SOUND QUALITY
For the time it was great. Today the Vocoder is still good, the choirs have become artificial compared to the TC Helicon which mostly dominates in realism. Master keyboard or MIDI (synthesizer).
Thus the assigned notes are bent in real time.
I still love its tone in the Vocoder mode, harmonies become fun.
I love its nostalgia.
OVERALL OPINION
This one was my second and last, I also had a Vocalist Workstation, more complete. Expensive in their day, now attractive for small budgets.
If I wanted one, they can still be found occasionally, but no, I would go to TC now.
I still love its vintage vocoder sounds and some choral voices.
Cons: outdated.
