Harmony, vocoder format analog pedal.
Connectors XLR and jack input and output, phantom power switch (for condenser microphone) and switch hi / lo gain entry. 9v standard input.
No loss of signal output. The bypass is neutral.
Good quality finish, all metal housing.
Remembered by a preset mode that can be recalled with footswich right.

UTILIZATION

The manual is quite useful (although in English), it is wise to read it because the knobs may have a different use in the manner but the overall usability is consistent. For the modes "Harmonies", for example, the Voice Mix knob allows a range of focus to another (third more superior than fifth below, and vice versa) or in the mode "Unison + Whistle", to move from one to another or to mix the two.
Recording presets could not be simpler: hold down the big white knob, all the LEDs flash to signal recording. In preset mode if any of the settings is to move, an LED blinks to indicate this, which is rather interesting.
The handling is very fast and have fun right away.

SOUND QUALITY

This pedal is made for the song coupled with the guitar. Do I think not ask him anything other than that for which it is made. She is not bad like that!
As for the sound itself, it does what is asked of him if not look for extreme settings. Basically (as with many effects that matter) if you turn the knob to max quality is less convincing. To clarify, it is in good taste to mix voice "dry" enough to keep the realism of the sound, and that we should not push the setting of "gender" to 0 or 100% or lose the realism.
However if one is reasonable can enrich the harmonies, surprisingly a melody. Warning against by not venturing too far into the dissonant guitar chords at the risk of dissonance harmonies (unless it chose a third way, without of course)!
Mode whistle is in turn the way the funniest and had left imagine, in addition to its basic use of imitation whistling in unison, quite a frenzy with his synth side barred.
The last mode is a vocoder. For once the guitarist can have fun with it without having to speak in a pipe! Like the rest of it is used sparingly.

OVERALL OPINION

I just make the purchase but already tested live. After the surprise balances due to the fact that I had tested the home and not on a sound system, the use has been rather convincing. The Octaver is discreet but adds a twist to the presence of the voice. The harmonizer shown itself to end and efficiently.
The ergonomics are perfect for live thanks to the two footswitch: one to trigger the effect, the other to select and switch presets.
Attention to diet, however, I was not advisable to plug the PSU in my pedalboard but I still tried. Result all my pedals began to blink like a Christmas tree: the most beautiful effect but a little scary. The transformer comes with the Voice Box, enjoy it!
I can not find the price excessive compared to other pedals, especially since it is rather unique. It has nothing to do with other effects processors singing the same price range, it is much more credible and effective.
I do it again this choice again and recommend it to all guitarists singers in search of serious effects and rewarding for their music.
