TC-Helicon VoiceLive 2

Vocal Processor from TC-Helicon belonging to the VoiceLive series

FILIVER FILIVER

«  Excellent product, but for informed user. »

It is a vocal harmony treatment with dynamic voice, driving through several sources (guitar, keyboard, midi, sequencer ....)

Everything is editable, it's very comprehensive and flexible.

There is software to retrieve the various banks of effects. It is not rack in 19 "

The processing is digital and clean, very realistic in a mix.

UTILIZATION

The grip is immediate for the basic functions. Beyond this use, it is preferable to have a solid, both in music and sound technician to make the best of the beast.

The manual (in French on the publisher's website and box) is clear, even if the translation is sometimes a little ... rough.

Once acquired the knowledge necessary for its use, adjustments are quick and intuitive.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality, as always with TC-Helicon is impeccable, as long as we stay in the area of normal effect.

Being more specialized in the field of harmonizing vocals, so this is the main use I have, with a focus on realism. So be very careful that you spell the little box and fine tune as necessary.

Again, if used properly, it is the ultimate in vocal harmonization.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been a year since I now use it for production-oriented professional. Is that I could hear before the release of this product left me with ice, as it was losing the natural. With VoiceLive 2 (VL2 for short), there are unprecedented opportunities to date, even by the closest competition.

But because there is a but, this remains a complex tool, with possibilities that the limit is your imagination and your musical "taste".

Most of our titles are produced with the assistance of VL2, you can listen here:

The product is certainly expensive, but worth the great expense.
