Value For Money : Excellent
-What are the effects, types of effects available?
Hardtunes (Similar to Autotune), Vocoder, Megaphone, Distortion, Radio, ...

-What technology is used? (Analog, digital, tube ...)
Digital

-Are they editable? Via a publisher Mac / PC?
Possibility of saving as its presets on your computer. on the other hand for the edition I do not think

-What is the connection? (Audio / MIDI)
Audio (2 inputs and one XLR output / input jack), USB (only for backup in any case it transmits voice signals to the computer)

-If he acts a rack or rack-mount model?
No

UTILIZATION

-The general configuration is simple?
Yes, 2 or 3 hacks you plug the microphone, the receiver and go!
Outlet, switchable phantom power. Effects can be activated / deactivated in the foot. Output volume knob.

-The editing sounds and effects is easy?
A breeze! Its ability to save presets in 10 different channels.

-The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
English mainly, very understandable.

SOUND QUALITY

-Effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
The pedal is separated into 3 parts: Hardtunes, Effects Harmonization (vocoder, synth), Effects of substance (Megaphone, telephone, radio, distortion). It can be activated effect the choice of individual channels at the same time.

The effect Hardtunes (pitch correction to the change of tone) works properly, with its knob adjustable from 0 to 10. Several alternatives to Hardtunes (height adjustment, either lower or higher) which allows anyone to become a real girl or a crooner who smoked 5 packs of cigs in one day ... Realism aside all depends on the degree of correction needed. It's about fucking in the volume pot at 10 every change of tone (even minor) results in a significant turnover of autotune.
Personally, he has both its Office 3 (barely audible) to 5 (good enough level correction). After not forget to choose the appropriate note to the song from C to G, so a range (both major and minor see that even the most novice automatic)

Side effects of harmonization, it works on the same principle and the vocoder is controllable either automatically or with a guitar or a synthesizer (presence of a jack in the back).

For exactly the same for background effects. Cons by the megaphone effect is not quite realistic it is very close to the effect radio or telephone)

-Which instruments do you use?
Basic dynamic mic (sm58 type) for the live, or with the AKG Perception 220 for recordings (as said earlier there is a phantom power). For phases "lives", when sung rather low, the result is quite intriguing since the feeling of singing with a stuffy nose. That said, trying with this adverse perception fades completely (I think it stems from both the singer's microphone).

-Which ones do you prefer, you hate?
most: Hardtunes (same time I bought it for that ^ ^), height difference with Hardtunes, background effects.
the least: the megaphone effect could be improved, the vocoder too cold on autopilot (not tried manual)

OVERALL OPINION

-For how long have you been using it?
7 months

"What thing do you like most/least about it?
Pros: Hard case, look (she has a mouth anyway ^ ^), the choice Hardtunes and modulations of the height, background effects, the phantom power.
Cons: the vocoder little or no use now I bought it largely for the effect Hardtunes so other effects are additional.

-Did you try many other models before getting this one?
TC Helicon being the only (for now) to offer this purpose (Hardtunes) in pedal, its big brother the VoiceLive 2 being most comprehensive effects (and therefore more expensive ...) I chose this pedal. If not for something similar should move toward plug-in PC / Mac (Antares Autotune) then I do not know if there are rack models (like it is more expensive yet ..)

-What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Well, except, as said above, if you want something more comprehensive: VoiceLive 2

-Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
Yes absolutely in the context where you want to use either concerts / rehearsals, either live or record it for a good investment!
