Value for money very honest, this is the price for the pro stuff, so if you find it too expensive head to the gemini or numark behringer but watch out for surprises ... I found mine was € 430 on thomann so good I do not think that is excessive in retrospect.

I would do this choice of course and I board any DJ wanting to acquire a quality table TRUE.

The faders are a shit, fader alps base is the weak point.

on the other hand, it remains for me the mixer with the best value for money, the effects are great, it is extremely easy to handle, very nice effect on the section .... I find nothing more in this range, then it depends what you search, a turntablist has no interest in using this table, for the dj cons for using effects, I see no better.

The equalizer is set up perfectly, although the cutoff seen ....

I use it for over a year, I had to change the sliders, both about 30 euros ....

We just bought a pack CDJ400/DJM400 in perfect condition.
Reason for purchase: Have a very compact, equipped with USB ports and effects for small DJ set's complement our board CDJ2000/DJM700.

A negative point (which we were not ignorant): The unbalanced outputs in RCA.

Dot: The low output level. In our opinion, they are contrary to the O db DJM 700 comes out to + 4 dB.

Ultra Simple
Manual is so useful if it is needed. (I believe for the effects to understand how they work)
To add a personal opinion, I really appreciate the system of pre-listening (3 buttons: Channel 1, Channel 2, Master) which is organized well in headphones (the master is separated on one ear, if activation of the 1 or 2) It may be trite but I got more familiar with a potentiometer mix)

1 year of use. This choice was motivated for the Pioneer quality, use simple and effective, the effects box. + With a really efficient and measured.

Insofar as today reference model in this range has become the 350 series, I still advise the 400 in hand if the price is right!
Indeed it is unfortunate to have to replace the system of pre-listening (to fit into the category + pro? To equate a "format" more universal cue / master?) And box effects lost in charm. More adjustments to the tempo / measures (depth only), 4 small effects, more sampler ...

I do not regret my choice. Today I would not choose one of the 350.

There is a built-in effects section plus the in-loop sampler (sampler wholesale ^ ^) which is quite interesting.

What is your opinion about the value for the price? For price and I got it (320 euros) I would say that the quality / price is good especially since the table was in excellent condition. Nine at the time it cost 549 euros it seems to me that seems a little high but Pioneer is good all the same I've never had any problems with the evening, while she stayed on for more than 8 hours straight.

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? I think it's a very good restaurant to start the mix, but when you hear what people were saying about the quality of its table Allen & Health, I think a Xone 22 coupled with an EFX 1000 or 500 could make for a 2-way toll.

Very good EQ with perfect cuts.
Main disadvantage: noise. I connect them to my monitoring speakers. I use them with Ableton and I get a lot of noise... When mixing, the noise is not audible.

I've been using it for over 2 years.
Previously, I owned a 3-channel Gemini but it cannot be compared.

Pros:
Good-quality effects although some of them are unnecessary.
Overall quality: rugged construction (the controls are sturdy)!!

Cons:
The filter would be better if it had only one control, like on the DJM-800 and 700.
One additional channel would be nice.

Good value for money. It's the price to pay for professional equipment. If it's too expensive for you, buy a Gemini, Numark or Behringer but you might have an ugly surprise...

I would definitely buy it again and I recommend it to all DJs who want a REAL quality mixer.
