Published on 01/23/11 at 14:28I bought it at Thotho (well-known German mag) for 90 € less than the large mag Toulouse. In May 2008.
I had all sorts of combos, or t ^ and your cabs before, I had a cab Marshall JCM800 4x12/300W of the time, and especially 2 orange cabs 412 (2x300W) tt for my head 140W lamps 1979. They were fantastic, but good enough athlete that I could not lug around all alone.
After staying on combos, I returned to t ^ te (Peavy Classic 30) and a cab: I had a cab 112avec Cel V30 already, but I was looking for something better than the marshall cabs to G12T75 (1922, 1936) but in 212.
Well, it is not given (between 460 and 550 € as orange) but I found the right formula! There is a Cel V30/60W that everyone knows and Cel V Heritage 80W (190 € HP), which provides the rest!
140W into 16 ohms mono. and stuff on the relatively small size (68x27x50) and a nice weight: 22kg
The sound? very satisfying, for rock or hard rock! Deep, rich mids, and all that creamy distos keeping the accuracies of the notes. Super sustain if its input is OK! Very relevant to my or my GLPCustom Jackson! less clear or compelling sounds I like my Hot Rod (of course). I think to close it behind (it is 1 / 3 open. Why? Not know.
