Published on 06/19/14 at 10:25I've had a few days.
I tried the Marshall 1960A with AC30 in my local music store but I was not thrilled with the sound too cold for my taste.
I was looking for a speaker déspérément Vox V412BN for some time that is no longer manufactured by Vox and then looking all speakers present on the site Thomann (not quote) and I came across a baffle cutaway Palmer empty to fill up and be yourself. This got me thinking and I said that I loved the Celestion Greenback 12 'of my AC30 thus serves as my amp head. On the site of Palmer (http://www.palmer-germany.com/mi/de.html) I found the version already installed with 4 Greenback 12. In Sonovente the price was below the target price quoted by Palmer. So I jumped at the chance! I finally had what I wanted at a great price.
This baffle is impeccably finished (Deutsche qualität!), Carpentry, Tolex, woven speaker protection (removable) wiring, wheels etc..
NB: Unlike the picture, the Palmer logo is at the center of the cabinet and not in the top quarter.
A not always accessible to all speakers: stereo input and mono.
I would do this choice without a doubt.
