LAG - I think a abrviation of "The Guitar" - is one implant maker franais in the south. If the design of the instrument is, he is not even in the manufacture of its acoustic guitars that are couraging Asia. But who cares! These people have the dj demonstrated their expertise!
This is a guitar form "parlor" is - that petty cash - more Troit still a classical guitar - I tried dernirement in its amplified. This kind of silent body very popular until the mid-1960 o dreadnoughts took the front of the scne.
The instrument features INTERESTED Submitted for:
- Without tailpiece anchors can allger the dam - so more vibration the soundboard - and facilitates the choking strings finger-picking.
- 14 round non-cash boxes, a rare type of boxes parlor o 12 boxes are lgion.
- The nut of the bridge is in two parts, o better intonation
- 2 outputs for amplification: jack and XLR, so no need to dircet box to connect to a console.
Price (July 2004): 720 and 620 and electro acoustic first.
Lutherie:
- Table: solid red cedar (I prfr of pica, see the mahogany, but it's got a case of)
- Body: mahogany
- Handle (short scale): Mahogany
- Fingerboard: rosewood
- Finish: polyurethane, it is only 8 because of a natural varnished would make it a unique instrument because it would further libr vibrations of the body.
Regarding pramplificateur:
- Battery compartment accessible from the collection's outdoor of the case
- Volume
- Notch filter
- Prsence
- Low
- Mdiums
- Acute
UTILIZATION
- The handle is trs enjoyable, especially since the short-scale (length) allows a good finger-picking in jouabilt and lowers a little string tension. The action (string height) is low enough and can play effortlessly without the slightest sound of rope frieze.
- The mcaniques are blameless.
- By Reduces the size, it is not encumbered by the fund as sometimes a jumbo or dreadnought. Added to this is a low mass which makes the device comfortable trs.
- The rglages pramplifiateur the trs are effective. Ms. trs as bad this year, I have not had any problem to find its Fidler.
SOUNDS
If you play this guitar fingers for you! The finger picking going on with his allgrement trsmdium, balanced and rhythmic without mdiator are also INTERESTED trs. The sound is much more powerful than what you would expect with a case so small and it is also quite unlike the direct sound of a dreadnought to the sound of cathedral often cold when the guitar is played with fingers.
I did not try to mdiator, but I do not think this is the field of excellence for this guitar if you play it acoustic. However, the pramplificateur correct it once the instrument branch.
The instrument is intended primarily for folk and acoustic blues, especially in solo or small ensemble (except when using the pramplificateur to change the sound) o we obtain wonders.
OVERALL OPINION
I only tried the instrument in a shop, but I intend to one day acqurir especially since its amplification is efficient trs. I currently play on a Simon & Patrick Cutaway and cedar table with j'apprcie sound deep but I find a bit of mt o intrt for direct sound of the Lag especially since it's a really possde trs suited to finger picking that I privilgie.
I'm pretty demanding on the sound and I rarely find something that I like - especially not the Takamine - and I think this guitar all: sound, original form, its pretty finish pramplificateur efficient and affordable. I look to find a job to buy it: need I say more?
