Have used this instrument for both strumming and finger picking over the past 10 years. It has a lovely warm clear sound but be careful how the onboard EQ is applied, i.e. too much bass = very 'muddy', and too much treble puts you in 'tinny' territory, that said it is not difficult to find a good balance as the preamp is excellent. Overall the guitar is very well made with good tone woods and the finish is excellent. My only gripe is that for a long gig, it becomes a bit heavy.
