The default cit by some about the dependency between the C-rglage down the tracks and the C-stro top of the mono subwoofer is a quality in my USGA: when I want frquence change the cut-off of my Systm, I did not touch the rglage the box, this is done alone. And when you consider that the evidence is unreliable, it is a big advantage.
Therefore dpend the intended use do.
