The frequency response, the fact that they are preamp.
I use them for the monitoring and mixing in a home studio
There is a bass-reflex vent that comes out in front, and also volume buttons and on-off in front (significant!)
SOUNDS
The curve of frequency response seems very friendly, even flat.
The sound is clear and very accurate over the entire spectrum. Good stereo, good DYNAMIC TCP /. At low volume the bass is unobtrusive, I do not know if we can do better with small plays like that unless you add a subwoofer.
I am pleased with these speakers. Finally, a neutral and faithful listening! I re-listened to my mixes done on Truth Berhinger 2031 and then I realized all the mistakes, and heard many things that I did not before.
Obviously these speakers are not flattering and it takes work to get good sound, but that's exactly what I was looking for the studio. They are not very powerful but not enough to work.
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for 3 months. Previously I was working on Berhinger Truth 2031
What I like most:
- The sound, clear, precise, dynamic, not flattering
- Small footprint, ideal for the home and studio nearfield
What I like least:
- Might perhaps be a little bigger to earn a little low?
- The price is still not given
Value for price is right for this kind of material that goes to the pro audio.
Yes I would do without hesitation that choice!
I would not be surprised if these references become pregnant as the studio were the Yamaha NS10.
