«  Too flattering .. »

Published on 06/12/11 at 07:26
The many positive reviews and the fact that they boasted this product as excellent in terms of quality / price ratio, it was also my first pair of monitoring.

My current config:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz
4GB Ram
1TB HDD
Digidesing 001
Alesis M1 Mk2 ....( I intend to change)

SOUNDS

So the big problem with these speakers is that they are far too flattering, especially at the low / sub ...

The end result will be different, or anywhere you listen, even if these early problems were glaring differences, I got a bit blurred over time.

Listen to his mix low volume does not do very well, it must be pushed a little, see a little too am suitable for this.

Otherwise it gets worse, but hey, if you do not mind work frequencies, it is better to something more neutral ..

OVERALL OPINION

I have for some years, and I dream to make something better, pro .. I think dailleurs soon crack the Event Opal home for radical change and be quiet for long!

For a first pair of monitoring, the Alesis, his would have been worse, and I have been having fun on it but I really feel the need to move on to evolve hoped ..
