On paper they are top .. I wanted speakers for cheap labor, low-volume area, in addition to large Dynaudio and a pair of very pregnant Hifi bonn e quality, B & W DS-1.La vision headphone jack on the front is practice and settings treble / bass and the button ON.

SOUNDS

Very disappointed. Even if the product is well designed in the controls, fonctionnelités and I / O, it is really too light in sound, for me it does not.
Already at 44.1kHz on the optical input, the sync did not seem perfect (inexplicable glitches) but it works well 48kHz.

C The big worry in sound, they sound "hollow" if you know what I mean, serious lack of definition in the midrange, a nasty bump in the lower medium, around 150 Hz, the treble is potable, low current relatively low range, but blurred and exaggerated.

In short for me totally impractical for either the design or sound for recording or to the mix. I tried "retrapper of the EQ is so correct, but that suddenly it sends certain frequencies in the clip without warning. As against the stereo image is good. No noticeable noise.

OVERALL OPINION

Note that I have nothing against Behringer, I ultrafex2 the ADA8000, the ULTRAPATCH in the past and still other things I have no qualms about brands, but there the MS40 It was at the point where it bothered me, no way to get used to, even my best-sounding records all sounded bad on it. In short I strongly recommend, to 120 € the pair are no miracles on c, but in my opinion are ptites stereo or multimedia speakers for the same price that sound better ..
