I am guitarist and I wanted to give me a pair of speakers to practice my instrument and do some components / model home.

I have a config trs classic guitar / bass -> (effects) -> (pramp lamps) -> soundcard -> (squenceur) -> encentes.

My choice was motivated by t The definition of sound, but also by Reduces congestion and affordability of this pair.

SOUNDS

I'm not ing sound and I do not mix with these speakers, for consquent the neutrality of the curve n'tait not CRITERIA.

on the other hand I was looking for a good coverage of the spectrum and sound, balanced prcis to practice my instruments and components to match.

At this level I am satisfied with TRS: The minutes of scratch (using a small pramp) or bass directly into the sound card are frankly convincing trs! The dynamics of the instruments is transcribed Fidler (pramp and good quality sound card help). The image STREO parrait trs me good.

OVERALL OPINION

Fostex are small in my office for two months. I had time to find the right placement (very important) and I am fully satisfied with the sound.

I start to use it even uses "multimedia" (listening to music, watching movies ...) and I find that rendering is correct for the speakers trs "monitoring". ...

Acqurir before I took the time to listen all that was similar (5 ") in this price range (<300E pair): M-Audio BX5a, Prodipe Pro 5 , and KRK RP5 Alesis M1 (a bit more Chres). Unfortunately I was not able to compare with the Samson Resolv A6.

KRK put hand there was no comparison in terms of overall balance and rendering. I hsit with KRK, but they remained a bit more Chres and I liked the least (more "modern / compress?).

Finally, small Fostex suit me perfectly. I could hardly cite default as part of my daily use: can be that the placement normment plays on the sound, but I think this is the case for all speakers such ....

I find that the ratio Q / P is made honnte!
