Best value: Excellent
I was looking for smaller monitors (after moving to a small apartment) to work on my small office without me smashing the ears.

I produce electronica, many taken concrete sounds, electro remix of the glitch.

I am a manic sound accurate.

after several listenings compared, those they were exactly what I was looking for: size, power, precision sound and exhaust on the front (very important because I did not back possible). compared with Yamaha, which sounded very good (but rear exhaust) but were a bit aggressive ... Some like to me, I preferred the Fostex.

and more fostex are beautiful.

SOUNDS

- Neutrality seems to me very respectable. the highs are a little muffled, but it has the advantage of not too tired ears.

- Stereo: perfect

the sound is very precise (but mild), including the bass, which is surprising for speakers of this size!

on acoustic recordings, the dynamic is nickel.

OVERALL OPINION

Here it's 3 days I guzzler tapping two hours a day. pure pleasure!

I rediscover pieces is any, it is fun even when you do not bump a mix.

I tried the Tannoy Reveal passive, on which I work at the studio where I work, I had behringer I will not talk about here, nothing to see.

I tested krk, the yamaha m-audio, and frankly they were undoubtedly the best.

the price / quality ratio is excellent.

with experience, and with a bigger apartment, I would probably model above. but now I have to say I'm a fan of fostex!

I put 9 because there are always better ... but I did not find in this price range.
