Designed to fill even the biggest studio control room, post-production suite or mastering facility with rich and detailed sound, the Rokit 10–3 includes all the features of KRK’s Rokit Generation 3 series of speakers, as well as new voicing technology based on feedback from recording professionals.
The 10” woofer is made of lightweight, glass-Aramid composite material to preserve transient response and is said to retain clarity while delivering bass extension down to 25 Hz. The 4” midrange driver accounts for the detailed mids, while the 1” soft-dome tweeter ensures accuracy by offering high-frequency response up to 30 kHz. Each is driven by an analog, Class A/B amplifier with a total power rating of 148 watts for plenty of headroom and the ability to produce up to 110 dB SPL.
Balanced XLR, TRS, and unbalanced RCA jacks provide universal connectivity, while high- and low-frequency trims allow accommodating personal
listening tastes or tweaking the overall response to match particular room acoustics.
According to Gibson Pro Audio (that own KRK), this model was designed to provide midfield features and performance at a nearfield monitor price, and incorporates the refinements that have made the Generation 3 Rokit line popular.
