Behringer introduces at NAMM 2013 the Ultragain Digital ADA8200 8-channel ADAT interface equipped with MIDAS preamps.
The Behringer ADA8200 is the successor to the AD8000 and features an 8-channel A/D and D/A Cirrus Logic 24-bit converter with a choice of either 44.1 or 48 kHz resolution. It also features 8 onboard MIDAS-designed mic preamps with built-in +48 V power and a built-in ADAT Interface to record directly to a multi-track or computer-based recorder.
Connections are provided for balanced XLR and ¼" TRS, as well as unbalanced ¼" TS inputs. Line Out connectors provide either balanced or unbalanced connectivity. Digital I/O is handled via optical socket, supporting up to 8 channels of data.
