PEAVEY this console to the advantage of being versatile for home studio and the sound system, with its 16 channels Jack + XLR and two send / return stereo effects it offers many possibilities. There is a 3-band EQ for each, 60 mm faders + a clip LED for every + panoramic + gain. It has a stereo output jack prinicpale + 1 auxiliary (monitors) with 60 mm fader level meters + type LED bargraph. There is also a headphone output with volume control and stereo input / output format CINCH (adjustable volume) for connecting CD player / K7 / MD ... It is a console very light due to its width should be around 80 cm

UTILIZATION

It very easy to use, roughly one branch, one rule, and then it's ready!. Ergonomics are good, the faders are nice (attièrement revised and cleaned all the contacts by a pro!).

SOUNDS

It has been used for many records, or synths electro-acoustic sections and the result was very correct, certainly it is not a 02R96 or equivalent but the sound is not too bad next to the price / quality ratio above that he left it was worth all the same in 9000 Francs. I have used with Yamaha MSP5 but also NS10M, the Genelec 1029 and different effects and synths, I always was satisfied overall.

OVERALL OPINION

I got it used in 94 (Franks 6000) and since it served as a focal point of my little home studio. I do not regret having bought it because I have fond memories of that particular console when recording with friends on weekends.

PS: sold in 2001
