4-octave keyboard means.

- Dest as an LFO with a tilt of the two, the two oscilloscope, the pulse width or the filter cutoff. The LFO is a strength of Nordlead in sound: it has a EHJV of hell!

UTILIZATION

Well, this is the first analog modeling synth is saying I do not know what. What is sr is that employment is as simple as a viel analog: twenty pots, knob by a single function, zeros menus! It gnial have fun for hours making sounds with it.

UTILIZATION

Everything is on the front. The edition sound is clear, fast and efficient! It is an instrument on which cratif immediately to express environment, it comes out as the user manual for special functions.
The Nordlead is the best synths Designed as I know, it is an instrument "touch".
The pitch wheel is a bit Drout at beginners, but with some practical, high quality you get to add a lot of expressiveness solos.
The quality of manufacture is irrprochable and contrary to what is said before APRS 6 years of use never gave any buttons. The only minor complaint is that the keyboard is a bit "plastic".

SOUNDS

The Nordlead is an extremely versatile sytnh. They excel in all types of sounds: leads, basses (!!!!), excellent sound effects, sound evolution, hybrid sounds ("analogiconumriques"), layers (especially thanks to the filter and the PWM on maodulation LFO), brass, metal sounds ....
The filter is rs successful and gives a lot of PCHE sounds.
I also very much the mode notch filter which gives a color any particulire.
The Nordlead has the personality and sounds that are recognized immediately in a song (see preset n55).

OVERALL OPINION

6 years since I got mine and I've never lass! It is one of the last one Nordlead products (with version 2.7 of the OS). This is a machine that has never let indiffrentes the people I jou.
Do not hesitate the grind in every way to make the most of this little wonder.

Synth Analog Modeling DSP 4 polyphonic voices. Several types of memory, or factory use.
A low pass filter and 24 dB above 24 dB as well say it's pretty mind-blowing at that level. And more specifics already mentioned below.

UTILIZATION

Usage is quite simple and does not require extensive knowledge of synthesis. At this level it's a good point, when we see gas plant competition we say that beginners will have no worries on it. The sound of Nordlead reminds me of a Modern Prophet 5, or rather digital. I must admit that it is the only synth of this type (model) that approximates the real Prophet. The effects are nonexistent, and somewhere, the better. We focus on the parts of synthesis and the effects are on racks outside, no need to mix into a single unit, the results are rarely good.

OVERALL OPINION

I used it a while and sold a little silly to move on.
Today I regret it a bit because I think it's a synth that has the presence and punch. For concerts is great because its small size allows it to easily take and strength makes it an ally. But above all is the sound I liked, his side 'clone Atomic / cyber cold' of the Prophet 5 I really liked. I managed to get him completely barred FM sounds that I can not repeat with other keyboards (analog or digital)

me only. ja i lucky to have recovered a beautiful version with OS 2.3.
I was afraid of being just a little polyphony, but nay. Live is enough, (the sounds to 4 layers are possible but rare, and an agreement on a 3 sounds so rich it sounds scary enough already!)
In the studio with old bin, I recorded audio and polyphony if I get my need ...
I have tried quite a few models before the purchase is one of my favorite synth. I find it superior to the NL 2 (with the extension of polyphony anyway) liked it the day disco dsp vst instrument "discovery", which is consistent with sound banks the NL, but ... how to say it is strictly humiliated by his model hardware ...
Although check polyphony: With 4 votes, can have some fun already, but the complex sounds are mono, and some will be missing without this extension ...

This is a soundgenerator.. a _real_ synthesizer. It doesn't have any reverb and stuff like that built in.. i prefer it this way.. That makes the synthesizer less expensive which often makes you able to buy some real high quality effects. Quality against quantity. 4 voices and 4 parts... upgradeable to 12 voices. Only 2 outs.

Price paid: $300 USD

UTILIZATION

This synthesizer got an almost perfect interface... designed by musicians for musicians. It's a shame that the guys at Clavia desided to straighten out the shapes on the Nord Lead 2.. otherwise i would probably have one of thoose instead. The Nord Lead 3.. same thing.. but that one has so much more to offer.. so if find one for a good price (in my case right now it isn't worth that much to upgrade) i'll probably upgrade or get one of thoose too.

SOUNDS

I just totally love the nord lead sound.. this thing is capable of generating some absolutely wonderful sounds in very high quality. Not perfect analog simulation... but that isn't why i have it (it's still one of the absolutely best an-sounding VA:s). You can do some really lush pads, some really aggressive basslines, totally wonderfull soundeffects and alot more. The oscillators feels a litle bit more digital than the waldorf q... but i still like the nord lead sound more.

OVERALL OPINION

I can lift up my modwheel a couple of mm.. so i guess i should open it up and check so it feels alright soon.. never heard any roumours of a nord lead that has acted strange except for this little modwheel thing.. which probably isn't any real prob since it been like that a couple of months and it still works perfectly (i use it almost every day)

I love my nord lead.. i've even named it (the only hitech thing i've ever called by name). I miss my nord lead when i'm not home. If i can find a good airbrush artist i will try to get another nord lead and make it unique.
