For a summary I would say small but tough: two-octave keyboard, polyphony of 8 channels, almost all functions accessible from the front thanks to the knobs, MIDI IN / OUT / THRU
audio input, headphone jack and an audio output left / right.
400 memory for sounds.

UTILIZATION

So there, there is no simple, it is super intuitive & user friendly.
one button = one fonction.l editing of sounds is a breeze there's no better
no need for manual or so for a few hidden features such as vocoder effects and settings, but hey it is not essential, I've never had and I use very well without the synth

SOUNDS

It only sounds synthetic and that's good, no sound in general.
what he does, he does it very well, it's not analog, but analog modeling.
the effects are average but adequate low-dose.
the vocoder 12 bands is simple and effective, a negative note however, there is no independent adjustment for the filters.
the rest I do not use it

OVERALL OPINION

I have for a long time and in retrospect I would do even that choice.
I even thought to buy a second one in case it fails, it is to say

on the other hand dommmage NOVATION that does not continue this type of product, and autonomous practice, the x-station are much more fragile and has less direct than the knobs K.
I made the comparison with a friend who owns an X.

you understand I love this little monster and I do not never part
