UTILIZATION

etc. The school sound.
The manual is useless.
You just have to use all the knobs and find out how to make a sound, it just comes naturally.

SOUNDS

I'm old school 80 ', just for passing analog / digital.
For me the Juno 106 is the "organic" sound and all digital synths that complement his or Va.

The 106 does not allow the sounds of death, but it has body without being excessive. It has a spectrum that fits well.
Bass, tablecloths, there it is! There is no more than around dress ...

Of course no such subtlety velocity, aftertouch, no realism, and yet it is hard to separate.

OVERALL OPINION

For 25 years I have in my possession and it is THE synth which I do not want to separate.
Is this irrational (not a Polymoog)?
It is simple, but honest, a few notes on his part to help the inspiration.
Just paste it into Midi sequencer, a bit of tweaking sounds, and say that we are still facing a great value for money.

The major flaw is the problem of chipsets 80017A which the resin may cause problems over time.
It made me store my 106 in a corner a few years.
Once repaired, I thought I was foolish not to fix it faster.

I recently removed from the resin and rediscovered my 106 away for several years.
In fact it means very well with digital and Go.

The 106 is fairly regularly criticized as being somewhat "bof-bof".
I do not agree with this fact, and I'd be curious to see the price of an analog that would come out today with the same features as the 106.

For me the 106 is a good synth "pleasure" and effective. Simple and essential
