Dear Fellow Audiofanziers!

This week two cool things happened.  The first it that we had the great pleasure to be distracted at work by an office visit from DJ Spawn.  DJ Spawn, spun and scratched some tunes for us on the Hercules DJ Console 4-Mx, and of course we were quick with the video camera.  It made me realize that long gone are the days when the DJs had to lug around crates of vinyl records to each gig.  Though crate digging as a hobby perhaps has been slightly transformed by the web- what shall we call it now?

The second thing, is that we published a rather techie article about Speakers, amps & impedance and how to correctly wire and choose speakers/amps.  It has been a source of confusion to musicians.  So we hope to bring some order here, so you can safely crank up volume without damaging your speakers.  Though, this advice quite often falls on deaf ears as players insist on ignoring efficiency for perceived loudness.  Oh well!
