http://news.asiaone.com/A1MEDIA/news/02Feb11/20110311.204056_japan_quake5.jpgDear Fellow Audiofanziners!

I woke up this morning and fired up the ol' laptop only to discover the breaking news concerning the massive 8.9 earthquake that has hit Japan and the ensuing tsunami waves that followed.  The Japanese, who are no strangers to earthquakes and tsunamis can be admired for their warning systems, alerts, and earthquake resistant building planning.  Yet, faced with a disaster of such magnitude (900 times that of Haiti) we still in the midst of the tragedy and the true devastation will take weeks to assess.  Anyway, our hearts are with the people of Japan and all the other countries which might be affected by the approaching Tsunamis.

This week we published an interesting test made by a studio in Tokyo (and we hope those guys are OK!) in The BIG Pre-Amp Faceoff. Then in keeping with our focus on Asia, we reviewed a bass guitar by the South Korean manufacturer, Schecter, in the Schecter Diamond P Custom 4 Review. Lastly, we explored what happens to your CPU power when you are Mixing in a Plug-In World.

Voila!
