Dear Fellow Audiofanziners!

It's time to talk about Summer NAMM 2011.  Here at Audiofanzine, we extensively cover the Winter NAMM in Anaheim each year and less the Summer NAMM - only cause there is less to cover.  A bit of history lesson- founded in 1901, originally NAMM stood for the National Association of Music Merchants, but has changed from a convention representing the interests of music products retailers to an international trade show including commercial, reseller members, affiliates and manufacturers.

Summer NAMM is traditionally one quarter size of the Winter NAMM show is more focused on business meetings and dealings than product launches and development courses.  In recent years there has been a decline in attendance for the summer show, so maybe this is the reason that for the first time in NAMM's history on Saturday July 23 the shows doors in Nashville will open to the general public as well and not be "trade only".

Make sure to check out our Summer NAMM news coverage!
