Dear Fellow Audiofanziners!

http://www.liveunsigned.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/today-thursday-big.jpgSummer NAMM 2011 is behind us, though the news keeps on coming.  Moving on, I stumbled upon this little piece about 9 things bands do that waste time.  None of things mentioned are a big shock and of course they don't just pertain to bands per se, but to any musician and/or his group.  So here are some things to think about that may waste your time as you pursue your musical career:

1. Using myspace
2. Spamming fans
3. Trying to get a physical product into a record shop
4. Copying what is fashionable at the moment
5. Thinking it is all about them (it is about you and your fans)
6. Trying to sell music when you have no audience
7. Doing lots of things badly, instead of doing one thing but well.
8. worrying about pointless figures
9. Not setting goals
