Dear Fellow Audiofanziners!

The Plasa Show 2012 opens its doors this Sunday, Sept. 9th and will continue throughout Sept.  12th .  The annual trade show is London based featuring exhibiting manufacturers from the world of professional light and sound.  In recent years we haven’t really focused on it here, but it’s never too late to start a new tradition, certainly one that has been long overdue.

There are some really interesting events that are going to take place.  Audio Pro International magazine give us a run at those top 10 attractions.  For me, what seems most interesting in case I was able to attend is:

• The Olympics Uncovered: Backstage at the London 2012 Ceremonies
• PLASA 2012 Professional Development Program: ‘Live Music Recording – Capturing Adele at the Royal Albert Hall’
• Allen & Heath launches two new products:  One of which has already been announced, the XB-10 Compact Broadcast Mixer.
• Roland’s ‘Event Within an Event’:  Announcing product launches and some hands-on live sessions.

There are lots of news already circulating around the web, most notably on the Plasa Show’s Twitter channel.  We will do our best to bring you the latest from Earl’s Court during this week.
