This was a busy week at Audiofanzine, following last week's Musikmesse trade show. In addition to our dedicated Musikmesse section, we also put together a Musikmesse wrap-up, which gives you a rundown (complete with corresponding videos) of our pick of the top 10 brands at the show, and the products they introduced.

Meanwhile, we also posted plenty of new editorial, including a review of Toontrack's EZdrummer 2, the long-awaited follow-up to one of the most popular MIDI auto-drummer programs. The new version introduces a slew of innovative features, which are bound to impact that whole product category.

We also debuted part 1 of our series on Mastering at Home, which will de-mystify mastering for you and give you tips for a DIY approach. While it's true that you'll almost always do better with a dedicated mastering engineer in a well-equipped mastering studio, there are plenty of situations where there just isn't the time or budget to hire a pro, and the only way to go is by doing it yourself.  Part 2 will be posted soon, so keep your eye out for it.

We enjoy the feedback that we get via our forums, so please feel free to contribute your opinions.
