Hi there,

First off let me say that I am a complete beginner with this so apologies if the question is dumb or an easy fix! I recently bought a 2i4 (2nd gen) and have started using it with Reaper.

Downloaded all the up to date drivers etc but my issue is that the volume pot seems to start getting quieter after it is turned past a certain point (at about the point of 8 if for example it went up in increments to 10 being the top). So essentially, the problem is that before it is at (what should be) full volume it begins to get quieter again.

I can't seem to figure out why this is happeneing. Is anybody familiar with this issue or is maybe a faulty unit?

Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
