Topic Wierd distortion when recording directly on to PC
Hi all,
I could really use some help. i have a DMX 6fire 24/96 soundcard. The problem is, when i try to record onto it, i get this static blip that almost sounds regular but isn't. it's not digital distortion and it happens regardless of the level of the signal. I have Cubase and WaveLab, it happens in both but is much worse in Cubase. The problem is definately with the PC because i record onto an old ADAT with the same mics etc and it's fine.
any ideas??
